A Confirmation Retreat Experience

Whether you are registering a young person, bringing a parish group, or answering the call to serve on the retreat team, you can find everything you need below. 

More than a sacrament of initiation, Confirmation serves for us as an invitation to begin living as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

ABLAZE was created to help young people experience that invitation in a personal and meaningful way.

Throughout the weekend, participants are guided through a journey of discovery, encounter, and mission as they explore four life-changing truths:

God knows me.
God loves me.
God ignites my heart.
God has a purpose for my life.

Through dynamic talks, prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, small group discussion, and thoughtfully designed experiences, participants are invited to move beyond simply learning about their faith and toward encountering the living presence of Jesus Christ.

Every aspect of the retreat has been designed to support that journey. Every talk, activity, symbol, and prayer experience exists for one reason: to lead young people closer to Christ and help them become more open to the work of the Holy Spirit.

Our hope is that participants leave with a genuine desire to continue walking with Christ, hearts set on fire and open to receive the Holy Spirit, growing in the life of the Church, and living the mission for which they were created.

ABLAZE is offered as both a regional, multi-parish retreat experience and, where appropriate, as a retreat facilitated for individual parishes.

Whether a young person arrives with a deep faith or simply because someone encouraged them to come, our prayer is the same; that they leave knowing they are seen, loved, and called by God, with a heart set ablaze by the Holy Spirit.

Registration Details

$ 365 per participant

Registration includes the full ABLAZE retreat experience, including:

• Two nights accommodations at Still-Water Retreat Center

• All meals and snacks throughout the weekend

• ABLAZE Companion Guide

• Handcrafted ABLAZE Rosary created specifically for the retreat journey

• All retreat materials, activities, and experiences

There are no additional retreat fees once registered. Cost should never be the reason a young person cannot attend ABLAZE. If registration cost presents a hardship for your family, please contact us.
